Pearls & Peonies 30th Anniversary Celebration

Child Improvement Through Therapy (CITT) celebrated 30 years of dedication to local families with a Charity Anniversary Dinner & Auction, on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Phoenix Country Club. Thank you to all who attended as well as those who continue to support CITT. Due to the generous support of our community, CITT continues to fund physical, occupational & speech services for children with special needs.

Benefiting Programs:
Child Improvement Through Therapy is the only private, not-for-profit organization in Arizona whose sole purpose is to assist families with the financial challenges of raising a child with special needs. Though insurance companies and other programs subsidize countless children, many therapeutic services are inadequately funded.

In addition, CITT now operates an equipment loan facility, Sydney’s Closet in memory of Sydney Hudson. This program allows those children, who have no funding source for much needed expensive equipment, an avenue for access to equipment such as walkers, standers, and adapted chairs.

Finally, CITT is now sponsoring Sibshops, a sibling support program for brothers/sisters of families with a special needs child.
