Debra Vano-Mok

Debra Vano-Mok was elected as the President of the CITT Board of Directors in May 2008. Her association with CITT began in 1996 when Occupational and Speech services were prescribed for her second child. As a former CITT beneficiary, Debra embraced the opportunity to give back to others in need when the position of President became available. After 20 years in marketing and business, she began to pursue more philanthropic efforts. Today, her leadership skills are being applied in varying capacities from publishing and selling school yearbooks – to facilitating workshops for teens seeking to empower their life.
Director, Therapy Review & Treasurer
Heidi Purrington

Heidi Purrington joined CITT in December 2007 as the Therapy Coordinator and was elected to the position of Secretary in May 2008. She served as the Secretary until October 2010 when she was elected to become the Treasurer. Heidi has teamed with Horses Help to develop and coordinate the CITT Equine Therapy program. As a physical therapist at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, she enjoys helping children overcome serious illness and injury. She also has an interest in Hippotherapy and Aquatic therapy.
Heidi has seen the importance of speech, occupational and physical therapies for children to reach their maximal potential. The benefits of therapy are enormous not only for the children receiving services but for their parents and siblings. In her spare time, Heidi can be found running or hiking on the trails throughout Arizona. She also enjoys biking and swimming.
Secretary
Krista Baker

Krista Baker joined the Board of Child Improvement Through Therapy (CITT) in 2011 as the Vice President and Provider Liaison. As Provider Liaison, she is responsible for interfacing with CITT therapy providers as well as other community partners such as the Arizona Early Intervention Program(AzEIP) and the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).
Krista has been employed in the human services industry for more than 16 years, with the last 11 serving as Coordinator of Early Intervention and Home based Services. In her spare time Krista enjoys attending her children’s school and sports activities as well as reading, hiking and traveling.
Director, Sibling Support
Karen Lukas

Karen Lukas has been involved with CITT for the past 17 years. She has been a member of the Board of Directors as Vice President, Therapist Representative and Sibling Support Coordinator. Karen is passionate about helping build healthy families, especially families with special needs children.
Karen has been practicing pediatric physical therapy in Phoenix for 25 years having worked in hospital, school, home health and clinic settings. She takes action to make a difference – and is currently serving as Director of Sibshops on CITT’s Board of Directors – coordinating workshops for siblings of children with special needs.
During Karen’s free time she enjoys sewing, gardening and crafting – and spending time with her husband and two school aged sons. She graduated from ASU in 1984 with a BS degree in Psychology and from NAU in 1986 with a BS degree in Physical Therapy.
Director, Sydney’s Closet
Cristina Finegan

Cristina Finegan has been involved with Child Improvement Through Therapy since 2009 when she became the director of their durable medical and therapeutic equipment loan program, Sydney’s Closet. Cristina is an Arizona native. When she is not working as a pediatric physical therapist, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her two dogs.
Director, Marketing
Clea Nabozny

Clea Nabozny became involved with Child Improvement through Therapy late in 2010 and serves as the Director of Marketing. She loves kids and believes in CITT’s mission of helping children and their families through therapy. During the day Clea manages internal and external communications and social media for an ethics and compliance organization in the valley. She oversees website design and management, e-mail communications, social media and branding among other marketing endeavors.
When she is not working Clea loves to read, watch movies with her husband and is involved in teen ministry.
Administrator
Jill Campos

Jill Campos has been involved with CITT for the past 9 years. She recently joined the Board as the Administrator. As Administrator, Jill is responsible for coordinating therapy funding, database management, and bookkeeping.
When Jill’s not busy with her 5-year old’s social calendar, she enjoys traveling and taking in Diamondbacks games.
